Jarvee alternative for X accounts: what former Jarvee users can run now

This page is for people who ran X accounts in Jarvee and are still looking for somewhere to put them, and for anyone who searched "jarvee" and found a closure notice. Jarvee is gone. The useful question is what you can run now, and which kind of tool fits the way you used it.

flottra is one of the options, so read this as a comparison with an interest. Every fact about Jarvee and the other tools below comes from their own pages or archive copies of them, checked 24 September 2026.

What happened to Jarvee

The Jarvee site now reads: "Service Permanently Closed. We regret to inform you that Jarvee is permanently closed." It thanks users, and adds that "All that remains is the blog". Archive copies show the normal product site on 2 September 2022 and the closure notice by 1 October 2022. Proxyway dated it 20 September 2022. The notice gives no reason, and no official one has been published since.

JarveePro is a different product. Its own blog says it is not a "Jarvee 2.0" and was rebuilt with a "Different team" and a "Different tech stack", while calling itself inspired by Jarvee. Treat it as one more tool to evaluate on its own terms, not as Jarvee continued.

What Jarvee did well

Jarvee earned its user base, and the parts people miss are worth naming, because they are the test for any replacement.

• One program for many networks. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr and LinkedIn sat beside Twitter in one install. flottra runs X accounts only.
• A wide X feature set. Its 2022 feature page listed auto follow, unfollow, follow back, retweet, likes, direct messages to targeted users, canned replies, scheduling with spintax and a "Night Mode".
• Proxy per account from the start. "Run each Twitter account on its own HTTP proxy to avoid leaving an IP footprint" is the same idea every serious tool still uses.
• Low entry price. $29.95 a month for 10 accounts, with a 5-day free trial and no card, per its 2022 pricing page.

If unfollowing, DMs and retweets were the core of your Jarvee setup, a live desktop bot such as TwitterDub is closer to that feature list than flottra is. The next section covers it fairly.

What former Jarvee users can run on X now

Desktop bots that are still sold

TwitterDub is a Windows app that, in its own words, "does not use the Twitter API" and "automates exactly the HTTP REQUEST communications", with a Chrome bridge added in late 2024. It follows, unfollows, likes, comments, retweets, sends DMs and posts media, for unlimited accounts on a one-off licence. Our TwitterDub comparison goes further. TweetAttacksPro lists Pro at $79 a month, $228 a year or $369 lifetime on its pricing file, plus a free version. JarveePro's Individual plan is $79 a month, $177 a year or $297 lifetime for one account.

Antidetect browsers

An antidetect browser gives each account its own profile and fingerprint, and you do the work by hand. It suits people who stopped automating after Jarvee. The guide to antidetect browsers for X explains what they change, and the AdsPower comparison sets one against flottra.

API schedulers

If you only posted, a scheduler on the official X API is the lower-risk route. It cannot follow for you: the X API changelog says that on 16 April 2026 "Following, Likes, and Quote-Posts via the API have been removed from all self-serve tiers." See the Typefully comparison.

How flottra differs from Jarvee

flottra is a web panel plus a Windows app. The panel holds what should happen and when; the app opens a real, visible browser for each account on your own computer and does the work there. No browser runs on flottra's servers, and nothing runs headless.

• Each account kept apart. A persistent browser profile stored on your disk, its own proxy (required) and its own fingerprint from flottra's Chromium-based engine. Time zone and language follow the proxy's exit IP.
• Following, paced. From a pasted list of up to 500 usernames per account, or optional discovery through X people search. At most one follow per account every five minutes, six an hour and 80 a day by default, between 09:00 and 22:00 in the account's own hours. See auto follow.
• A warming gate. Counted from the day an account is added: 3 actions a day and no follows for days 0 to 2, 6 a day to day 6, 12 a day to day 13, then open. It holds actions back; it does not browse to "warm" anything. See account warming.
• Text posts. One-off posts you write, or a posting routine whose text is written with your own AI key or by your own agent through the MCP server. flottra sells no AI credits.
• Likes and replies on request only. Through Pods (Pro and Team: 3 to 6 of your accounts on one post, staggered) or a task an agent schedules, with reply text you supply.
• Profile work and session checks. Display name, bio, website, avatar, header, username and password, one at a time or in bulk.

What flottra does not do

Measured against the Jarvee feature list, these are the gaps:

• No unfollowing, so no non-follower cleanup.
• No DMs, retweets, quotes, threads, polls, or image and video posts.
• No automatic like or reply routine, and no AI-written replies.
• No other networks, and no macOS, Linux or mobile app.
• No captcha solving; an email or phone check at login stops and waits for you. No proxies sold, and no datacenter proxies accepted.
• No post analytics, no team seats, and no cloud browser: if your computer is off, work waits.

X rules and risk

Jarvee, the live desktop bots and flottra all act on X outside the official API. X's automation rules (updated April 2026) are direct about that:

• "Use non-API-based forms of automation, such as scripting the X website. The use of these techniques may result in the permanent suspension of your account."
• "You may not like posts or hide replies in an automated manner."
• "You may not follow or unfollow X accounts in a bulk, aggressive, or indiscriminate manner."

Pricing compared

Which one to choose

• Choose a desktop bot like TwitterDub if you want Jarvee's breadth back: unfollowing, DMs, retweets and media posts, on a one-off licence.
• Choose an antidetect browser if you now run accounts by hand and only need them kept apart.
• Choose an API scheduler if posting was all you used Jarvee for.
• Choose flottra if your X work is following, text posts and profile setup, and you want every account in its own real browser with a proxy, a fingerprint and a slow start, managed from one panel. The feature overview lists what runs today.

Mixing is common: flottra for following and profiles, with a scheduler for posts. Other closed bots have their own pages: Socinator and FollowLiker, and the comparison hub lists the rest.

Moving your accounts over

There is no Jarvee file to import. What carries over is your own list of logins.

1. Paste the accounts in bulk, one per line: username:password[:email[:emailpassword[:2fasecret]]][:auth_token]. With a 2FA secret, the app generates the code at login.
2. Add the auth_token cookie where you can. It is the recommended way to sign in.
3. Give every account its own residential, mobile or ISP proxy over HTTP. The proxy guide covers the choice.
4. Expect the warming gate. It counts from the day an account is added to flottra, not from the account's age on X, so a ten-year-old account still starts at 3 actions a day.
5. Accounts idle since 2022 may meet an email or phone check at first login. flottra stops there, and you clear it.
