Buying and billing
The money questions, answered on the page rather than in an email thread.
- How do I pay?
- flottra is in beta, so plans are arranged with us directly: write to hello@flottra.com from the address on your workspace and say which plan you want. We set the limit on the workspace and it applies immediately. Card checkout is being set up; when it is live it appears in the panel under Billing.
- What counts as an account?
- One X account connected to a workspace. Computers are free on every plan: run the same accounts from your desktop and your laptop without paying twice.
- What if I need more accounts than the plan includes?
- Extra accounts are $4 each per month on top of the plan, up to 500. You keep the plan you are on; only the limit moves.
- Which currency, and who is the seller?
- Prices are in US dollars. The seller is DUCK DIGITAL LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 16726307. When a payment provider acts as merchant of record it issues the invoice and its name is what appears on your statement.
- Is tax added?
- Depending on where you are, VAT, GST or sales tax may be added on top of the price shown. A business can enter its VAT number at checkout where the provider supports it.
- Can I cancel?
- Any time, from the panel. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and nothing renews after that. There is no minimum term and no exit fee.
- What about refunds?
- The first payment on any plan is refundable in full for 14 days, no questions asked. The refund policy covers renewals, yearly plans and the exceptions.
- Is the free plan really free?
- Yes: 2 X accounts, every feature, no card. It is how you find out whether the product does what you need before anything is charged.
