GoLogin alternative for X accounts: flottra vs GoLogin

This page is for people who use GoLogin to keep X accounts apart, or who are weighing it up, and wonder whether a tool built only for X would do more of the work. The two products overlap less than the search result suggests: GoLogin gives you separate browsers, and flottra runs X tasks inside them.

flottra is the product making this comparison, so read it with that in mind. Every fact about GoLogin below comes from its own pages, checked 24 September 2026, and the section on where GoLogin is the better choice is meant seriously.

What GoLogin is and what it does well

GoLogin is an antidetect browser. Each profile gets its own cookies, proxy and device fingerprint, so several accounts do not look like one machine. Its engine, Orbita, is "built on the same open-source foundation as Chrome" and, per its Orbita documentation, "tracks Chrome's version releases". It is a general tool: the same profile works for ads, shops, crypto or any social network.

• It runs almost anywhere. The download page lists Windows, macOS on Intel and M-series, Linux, and an Android app, plus separate Cloud Browser and Cloud Android products for when you do not want a computer switched on.
• Proxies in the box. GoLogin sells residential and mobile proxies "in over 100 countries", and every plan includes 2 GB of residential traffic.
• Built for developers. A REST API and official Node and Python SDKs connect Selenium, Puppeteer or Playwright to a profile, so anything you can script, you can run in a GoLogin profile.
• Scale at a low price per profile. Paid plans run from 10 profiles to 100,000. The site claims "15,000+ customers managing over 1.5 million accounts".
• A usable free plan. Three profiles, with everything except profile sharing and team members.

On X specifically, GoLogin's value is isolation. One of its landing pages for multiple X accounts says its AI can "schedule and autopost" content, but no such feature appears on its pricing or feature table, so confirm it with GoLogin before you count on it. Otherwise the following, posting and replying happen by your hand or your code.

How flottra differs

flottra is a web panel plus a Windows desktop app. The panel holds what each account should do and when; the app opens a real, visible browser for each account on your own computer and does the work there. No browser runs on flottra's servers, and nothing runs headless. It uses no official X API.

• The same isolation, bound to X. Each account gets a persistent browser profile stored on your disk, its own proxy and its own fingerprint from flottra's Chromium-based engine. Canvas, WebGL, audio, fonts, GPU strings and screen differ per account and stay the same on every launch. Time zone, language and location follow the proxy's exit IP. An account without a proxy does not open at all.
• The X work is built in. Following from a pasted list of up to 500 usernames per account, or optional discovery through X people search. Text posts, either one-off or from a posting routine written with your own AI key or by your own agent through the MCP server. Profile setup: display name, bio, website, avatar, header, username and password. See auto follow.
• Pacing you do not have to build. At most one follow per account every five minutes, six an hour and 80 a day by default, with routines running between 09:00 and 22:00 in each account's own hours.
• A warming gate. Counted from the day an account is added: 3 actions a day and no follows on days 0 to 2, 6 a day to day 6, 12 a day to day 13, then open. It holds actions back; it does not browse to "warm" anything. See account warming.
• Likes and replies on request. Through Pods (Pro and Team: 3 to 6 of your accounts on one post, staggered) or a task an agent schedules, with reply text you supply.

With GoLogin you would write and maintain that pacing and those actions yourself in Selenium, Puppeteer or Playwright, and fix them each time x.com changes. The guide to antidetect browsers for X explains which parts of the fingerprint matter for X and which matter less.

Where GoLogin is the better choice

• You do not want a computer running. GoLogin has Cloud Browser and Cloud Android. flottra has no cloud browser; when your PC is off, the work waits.
• You are on a Mac, Linux or a phone. GoLogin ships all three plus Windows. flottra's app is Windows only, with no mobile app.
• Your accounts are not only on X. Ads, marketplaces, other social networks: GoLogin handles any site. flottra does X and nothing else.
• You want proxies from the same vendor. GoLogin sells them and includes 2 GB. flottra sells none, and it does not accept datacenter proxies.
• You want to script your own flows. The API and SDKs let a developer automate anything in a profile. flottra runs a fixed set of X tasks.
• You need many profiles or a team. Plans reach 100,000 profiles, profiles can be shared, and extra members are $10 each. flottra has no team seats or invites.

What flottra does not do

Measured against GoLogin and against what X users usually ask for:

• No macOS, Linux or mobile app, and no cloud browser.
• No other platforms; it is for X only.
• No unfollowing, DMs, retweets, quotes, threads, polls, or image and video posts.
• No automatic like or reply routine, and no AI-written replies.
• No captcha solving; an email or phone check at login stops and waits for you.
• No proxies sold, no account creation, no post analytics, and no two-factor login for the panel.

X rules and risk

GoLogin itself takes no action on X, so its risk depends on what you do inside a profile. Working by hand in a separate profile is ordinary use. Scripting x.com through its SDKs is the same thing flottra does, and X's automation rules (updated April 2026) cover both:

• "Use non-API-based forms of automation, such as scripting the X website. The use of these techniques may result in the permanent suspension of your account."
• "You may not like posts or hide replies in an automated manner."
• "You may not follow or unfollow X accounts in a bulk, aggressive, or indiscriminate manner."

Pricing compared

GoLogin shows prices in your local currency; the US dollar figures below come from its pricing page, checked 24 September 2026. Paying annually halves every plan.

GoLogin adds a 7-day trial, 2 GB of residential proxy traffic on every plan, and extra team members at $10 each. The prices are not like for like: a GoLogin profile is an empty browser, while a flottra account slot comes with the X tasks and pacing. You also pay for proxies separately with flottra.

flottra adds extra accounts at $4 a month each, and every plan allows unlimited computers. It is in open beta: card payment is not live yet, paid plans are set up directly by email, and prices exclude VAT. Details are on the pricing page.

Which one to choose

• Choose GoLogin if you work across several platforms, need a Mac, Linux, phone or cloud setup, want proxies from the same vendor, or have developers who will script their own flows.
• Choose flottra if your accounts are on X, your work is following, text posts and profile setup, and you want each account in its own browser with its own proxy and fingerprint, paced and gated from one panel on your own Windows PC. The feature overview lists what runs today.

Moving X accounts from GoLogin to flottra

1. Paste the accounts in bulk, one per line: username:password[:email[:emailpassword[:2fasecret]]][:auth_token]. With a 2FA secret, the app generates the code at login.
2. Add the auth_token cookie where you can. It is the recommended login and skips the password flow.
3. Give every account its own residential, mobile or ISP proxy over HTTP. If an account already had a steady proxy in GoLogin, keeping the same one avoids a sudden change of location. The proxy guide covers the choice.
4. Expect the warming gate. It counts from the day an account is added to flottra, not from its age on X, so an old account still starts at 3 actions a day.
